It saw the \u2018Aye\u2019 hitmaker on the road across cities in the US and Canada, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto from 16 June to 25 June.<\/p>\n<p>The musician is readying his next album in the coming months. The project is heralded by the single \u2018Stand Strong\u2019 featuring the Sunday Service Choir. Discussing the project with Rolling Stone(link is external), Davido said: \u201cAfrobeats is on the world stage right now. \u200b\u200bWe\u2019re trying to tap into every type of music, but predominantly African music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The LP was recorded in Nigeria. \u201cI get more creative when I\u2019m home,\u201d Davido explained. \u201cJust even having [my] boys around. It was like, \u2018What\u2019s going on in town? What are the new slang words? What\u2019s going on? I\u2019ve been away for three months.
