\u201cMy band, Bimpe Alabi and the Minstrels (BAM), is known with the stage name Judah, which means \u2018Praise\u2019. We seek to spur people to understand the reason and need for constant praise to God,\u201d she explained.
\nThe gospel singer, who is an accounting graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic, dropped her first Album CD recently. It is a six-tracker titled Judah Volume 1.
\nIt opens with Highest Praise, a mid-tempo dance music; followed by \u2018Hallelujah,\u2019 a blend of Calypso with South African rhythmic pattern; then \u2018E yo,\u2019 a mid-tempo, gracefully-style highlife gospel music highlighting horns and guitar; Next is \u2018You are Good\u2019, a mid-tempo calypso style with horns arrangements and percussive embellishment.
\nShe drives her message home with \u2018I love you Jesus\u2019, a funky beat with horns arrangements; and \u2018Knowing You\u2019, a slow-tempo, soft and soul music.

On her foray into music, she said, \u201cMy music life started when I joined Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral Choir at the age of 11.
\n\u201cFor me, it was basically a desire to serve God with all my heart, ministering to others as well as myself in spiritual songs. It is all about Jesus and, in fact, He gives me the inspiration.\u201d
\nNo doubt, the album resonates with good and quality songs. But Bimpe says her biggest desire is get promoters to push her album to four corners of the world to make the desired impact.
