The event attracted designers from different African countries, who showcased their unique creative works done in Adire, on the runway.<\/p>\n
The designs fell into these categories: casuals, cocktail, formal and informal wears.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, the twin events featured 60 exhibition booths set up by fashion entrepreneurs who showcased variants of African wears, shoes and fashion accessories.<\/p>\n
The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, blessed the grand finale with his royal presence. Other dignitaries included the First Lady of Kwara State, Amb Olufunke Abdulrazaq; Erelu Abiola Dosunmu, Oba Saheed Elegushi, amongst others.<\/p>\n
The finale was rounded with the presentation of awards to some notable Nigerians who have contributed immensely to the growth of the Nigeria Fashion Industry.
