Ms Lumor, an alumni of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an entrepreneur and fashion fanatic, said the fashion industry is the \u201csecond biggest industry globally\u201d but Ghana\u2019s fashion industry was not appreciated because the figureheads of the nation fail to appreciate it as an industry to invest in.<\/p>\n
She addressed a question on the Y107.9 FM YLeaderboard Series hosted by Rev Erskine on the efforts fashion brands in Ghana have made to change the ill narrative associated with them.<\/p>\n
\u201cFashion houses are doing enough for young people in Africa\u201d she stated, adding that African youth do not lack creativity but rather lack the finances to bring their creativity to fruition.<\/p>\n
