Streaming on Boomplay grew in 2022 by 248%, buoyed by its 88 million monthly active users and a record increase in Boomplay\u2019s catalogue to over 90 million songs.<\/p>\n

Yo Maps\u2019s \u201cWhy\u201d & \u2018\u2019Mr Romantic\u2019\u2019 takes the nod for the first and second most streamed Zambian song of 2022, followed by Chile One Mr Zambia\u2019s \u2018Why Me\u2019 ft Chef 187. The most streamed albums of 2022 go to Yo Maps\u2019s \u201cKomando\u201d at number one, followed by Macky2\u2019s \u2018Olijaba\u2019 and Jae Cash\u2019s \u2018Chawama John Howard\u2019 at number three.<\/p>\n
For the enviable Most Streamed Artists of 2022, Yo Maps, Macky 2 and Chef 187 are the Top Males, while the Top Female Artists are Towela Kaira, Xaven and Flerine Dah\u2019 Queen.<\/p>\n
