After acing her exams, she told her mother she wanted to pursue a career in programming.<\/p>\n
Her mother\u2019s response, she says, did not surprise her: \u201cShe laughed and said \u2018Do you know where you are from? That\u2019s for students from the cities, rich families or boys,\u2019\u201d Chantal recounts.<\/p>\n
they work, and this became a core motivating factor for me to pursue my degree in Computer Science,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
