\u201cCurrently, there is no coordination in the way MDAs access data from entities which provide space data, and we do not even consider value for money,\u201d The Minister commented. Dr Afriyie further emphasised that MESTI is actively collaborating with pertinent government ministries and the private sector to harness the potential of space technology. Their collective goal is to restructure the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute (GSSTI) into a space agency. This agency will play a crucial role in orchestrating the development of human capital, infrastructure, and advancements in space science.<\/p>\n
