The opening match will be played on Sunday, 05 November 2023 at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo at 17h00 local time (GMT). Hosts Athletico Abidjan will play Morocco\u2019s Sporting Club Casablanca. Both clubs are making their debut appearance in the competition.<\/p>\n
Athletico Abidjan are the first women\u2019s club from Cote d\u2019Ivoire to play in the CAF Women\u2019s Champions League finals.<\/p>\n
Eight Clubs will participate in the CAF Women\u2019s Champions League 2023. The participating clubs include two previous winners: ASFAR from Morocco and South Africa\u2019s Mamelodi Sundowns.<\/p>\n
The CAF Women\u2019s Champions League is part of CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe\u2019s vision of making African football globally competitive and self-sustaining and creating platforms for Women\u2019s Football in Africa to develop.<\/p>\n
