“Americans are very adventurous with ethnic cuisine from some parts of the world, but there is a lot of misunderstanding about African cuisine,” she said. “My hope is to demystify African foods and excite people about it. African food is flavorful, vibrant, and more approachable than people realize.”
At the event, meat and vegan dishes will be paired with wine from Averill House Vineyard in Brookline, NH, while live music will be performed by Rabihah Ruby Shabazz.
