African Beats is more than traditional and modern African music as the party like atmosphere will also feature a plethora of dance, food and entertainment.
Some of the best local African talents include Mauritian dancers Group La Faya, musical talents from Mike Champion and AbroMbollo. Plus there’s beats from AfroBeat, Lucky African Dance and DJ Kristelle.
Forget about toe-tapping to the music, African Beats wants to see your whole body dancing to the energetic music alongside the African community who have resettled in Blacktown.
There will also be free face painting, hair braiding with glitter and giveaways.
