The park is part of a working farm and is open 365 days a year. Specially trained guides are available to take you on informative tours. The scaly residents include giant Nile crocodiles, a large variety of indigenous snakes, tortoises and other reptiles. It is also one of the few places left in the world where you can see the rare and shy slender-nosed crocodile.

You can sample the Kalimba speciality, Croc burgers! They say it tastes just like chicken! Other food is available and all the beef, pork and fish are farm-reared right next door. Ice creams soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available at reception.

The Kalimba Farm also has a farm shop offering a range of products at farm prices. Products include bream, croc tail, chops and sausages.

BBQ/Braai ingredients are offered for sale as is charcoal. Braai stands are available free of charge for your own picnic but all beverages must be bought there.
