Saturday, July 29, 2023, remains a day to e remembered in the history of African music as Grammy award-winning singer and performer Ayodeji Balogun, who is popularly known as Wizkid, became the first African artist to perform at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, and fans were not the only ones to witness the historic event as music artists also graced the occasion.
Music artists who were confirmed to have performed on the night were The Cavemen, Wande Coal, Masego and Skyla Tyla, who opened the concert for fans.
Other top acts such as Seyi Vibez, LAX, Darkoo, P.Prime, Ms. Banks, Rahman Jago, Bankuli, Rexxie and many more were also in attendance for the night at the concert. Many had been backstage with Wiz and his team showing support to the singer on his big night.
