This lively event promises a dynamic blend of attractions and activities for visitors to enjoy.
According to Maria Motsamai, one of the coordinators of the flea market, the Bloemfontein Flea Market is a unique fusion of the beloved Neighbourgoods Market and the traditional Boere Market.
Attendees can explore a wide array of African-produced products, from handmade jewellery and clothing to art and décor. You can also indulge in the flavours of Africa with a delectable selection of traditional and modern African cuisine.
“We also have a kiddies corner with a jumping castle, face painting, and kids entertainment with a caregiver on standby, while the adults are moving around and enjoying what the exhibitors have to offer,” said Motsamai.
She added that the live entertainment is sponsored by Pacofs and the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture for the day. She also said various competitions and prizes include the Best-styled Stall, the Most Unique, Locally Produced or Manufactured Product, and the Most Popular Stall of the Day. “The first 50 people (excluding children) to arrive will get a promotional pack from one of our sponsors,” she said.
For local vendors and artisans who wish to showcase their crafts and wares, the Bloemfontein Flea Market is the perfect platform.
