The club’s legend Roger Feutmba was not shocked by club’s double over Al Ahly and believes his former side has made a strong statement in Africa.
“I’m not surprised, good confidence for the team and moving foward with great attitude. This is good advertisement for South African football,” Feutmba told the Siya crew.
A Sundowns success is a success for South African football and I hope PSL teams can learn from this, as they are now the pride of the country, they should be proud.
“They are changing the game, beating Al Ahly twice in a month. It will change the way Africa, and even the world looks at South African football.”
Feutmba predicts that there’s no better time than now to get that second star.
“Who knows, the second star for Sundowns (could be) coming.”
“I think Sundowns can win the Champions League, they are in a very good position to win it this season,” he added.
